Transit Centers
Transit Centers are central, convenient connection points for several different bus routes. Connections are timed so you can usually transfer between bus routes within a short time. Transit centers have well-lit, highly visible shelters, seating and travel information.

SPANAWAY TRANSIT CENTER
Under Construction
Pierce Transit is constructing a new transit center at 20712 East Mountain Highway, a few blocks south of Walmart.
This new station will extend bus Route service to the southern edge of the Pierce Transit service area. It will include a 38-car commuter parking lot, a drop-off area, a comfort station for transit operators and pick up/drop-off for a variety of rideshare services.
The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to open in early 2024.
